Silver leaf can be supplied in roll format in a continuous ribbon on tissue backing paper. The leaf squares are laid side by side to create the ribbon. These rolls are 50m in length and available up to 104mm wide. Standard stock sizes are 6mm, 12mm, 19mm, 25mm.
For sealing and protecting silver leaf we highly recommend using Kölner Leaf Protect to seal and prevent the leaf from tarnishing, followed by a more hard-wearing topcoat if a more durable finish is required.
