Transfer Silver Leaf
Our transfer silver leaf is pure silver leaf that has been hammered into incredibly fine sheets that are then pressed to a piece of acid free tissue paper. The paper protrudes past the edges of the leaf, allowing you to pick up the leaf by the paper and press the leaf against the sized surface without the need for a gilders tip.
Silver is prone to tarnishing and will need to be protected by a good quality lacquer applied as soon as possible after gilding.
