Pearl Lustre Pigment Powders
Pearl lustre, or pearlescent powder, is made from mica flakes and pigments that are formulated to give a range of different effects. The Lustre pigments give an iridescent effect, like pearl, with a light hint of colour whereas the metallic flakes (like the Gold) are strongly coloured with a metallic effect and shine. The powders can be used sparingly and mixed into clear topcoats to give a light, sparkly finish or can be mixed strongly with paint mediums to form a metallic effect paint.
