Liquid Leaf is a remarkable, easy to use alternative to gilding. It is brushed on to add an effective metallic finish to pretty much any surface or object. The innovative formulation includes its own red primer. Liquid Leaf is perfect for carved and ornamental furniture, frames, mouldings, decorative ceilings, lamps, figurines and a lot more besides. It is self-priming, quick-drying and contains actual metallic particles. This creates a lustrous authentic metallic effect without brassiness, giving a finish like traditional gold leaf.
Liquid Leaf boasts a high degree of flow. It lays out smooth and without brush-marks on a range of surface. The paint dries fast to leave behind a vibrant and gleaming surface that almost looks like a gilded finish. Because Liquid Leaf is so fluid it can be used in a striping brush or lining pen for elaborate scroll-work or lining. Liquid Leaf paint can also suitable for use with an airbrush when thinned with Brush Bath Thinner.
The red primer in the paint makes it suitable for a wide range of surfaces. These surfaces include wood, metal, glass, ceramics, papier-mache and cardboard.
One colour of Liquid Leaf can be used over another once dried.
