Kölner Revisol is a premium, water-based resist that prevents gold leaf from adhering to unwanted areas, giving you crisp edges and flawless detail.It's the perfect product to ensure application only were you want even on freshly painted or finished surfaces that might still have a slight tack to them. Manufactured in Germany by Kölner Vergolderprodukte GmbH, it works perfectly with both oil-based (Mixtion) and water-based (Instacoll, Signcoll) adhesives. Simply apply a thin, even coat to clean, dry surfaces where protection is needed, allow to dry for 1–2 hours, then apply your adhesive and lay the gold leaf. Once the gilding is complete, Revisol wipes away easily with a damp cloth, leaving a pristine finish.
