A superlative adhesive for use with imitation metal leaf or copper leaf, great for any project - big or small! Available in stock!

Kölner Permacoll Size is a permanent adhesive size with a higher adhesive strength than Permacoll Size, making it well-suited for using as a size when working with imitation gold leaf.

Permacoll offers much more flexibility than traditional oil sizes with their long drying times and short working times. Permacoll HA dries quickly, within 15 - 30 minutes, and is receptive to metal leaf for hours or even days later.

This product can be used on directly onto smooth or textured non-porous surfaces, such as painted wood or plastics, and can be used on porous surfaces such as plaster or bare wood with appropriate sealing of the surface. Permacoll HA can be used on glossy surfaces, provided the surface has been scuffed up to provide a key. Kölner Permacoll Size HA is ideal for making decorative gilded picture frames, ornaments, window displays and set decoration in theatre and film.

Please Note: Kölner Permacoll Size HA is not burnishable and is only suitable for interior use.

Coverage: approx. 15 - 20m²per litre.
