Kölner Instacoll Matt Base - Yellow - 500ml

Kölner Instacoll Matt System is a high-performance gilding system for the creation of matt gilded finishes on interior surfaces. Instacoll Base Matt can be mixed with Instacoll Base to create intermediate finishes between high gloss and matt.

Instacoll Base Matt can be applied with brush or spray equipment. After allowing to dry (for up to an hour), the Base is then activated with Instacoll Activator. Apply a thin and even layer of Instacoll Activator over the base and after a few minutes the surface is ready for gilding again. A surface prepared with Instacoll Base Matt but not yet gilded can be reactivated many times using Instacoll Activator. When using Activator is important to only apply the leaf when the Activator is fully dry. Always avoid getting Instacoll Activator onto the leaf itself.

Instacoll Base Yellow Matt is slightly darker than Instacoll Base Yellow, allowing visualisation of glossy and matt areas of gilding when using both systems prior to gilding.
