Gilders Knife
Specially shaped knives designed for cutting and shaping loose gold leaf on a gilders cushion while gilding. The blade is approximately 14cm long and fitted to a wooden handle. It is sharpened to a pefect sharpness to cut the leaf without tearing when properly used and the length of the blade allows an entire leaf to be cut across at once.
Available in carbon steel and stainless steel blades.
