This alternative to traditional tips is perfect for gilding on glass, such as when signwriting. The tip will pick up a whole leaf of gold and support it, with no risk of tearing. The see-through mesh allows you to line the leaf up perfectly with the rest of your gilding. Allowing you to minimise overlaps and get rid of gaps entirely!
It's so easy to use, just apply a small amount of vaseline to your forearms or the back of your hand and gently dab the grid onto vaseline to charge it and allow it to pick up the leaf. Then just lightly touch the tip to the leaf and it'll get picked right up!
