Edible Gold Leaf - Transfer

Transfer edible gold has been pressed to a backing sheet of tissue paper. To use transfer gold leaf (E175) you can pick up the complete sheet of tissue with the gold on and press it firmly against the moist food surface with the gold facing down. Transfer leaves are suitable for more solid, smooth surfaces such as fondant icing or a firm chocolate coating.
