Whitson's Gessaux
Whitson's Gessaux is a fantastic ground for gilding and other surface finishes. It is a mixture of clay and acrylic that can be applied directly to wood or other painted surfaces. It is sandable, burnishable and can be carved into. It is a fantastic alternative to casein paints as it is preservative free!
Comes in a range of colours that work well under various shades of metal leaf.
