PREPARATION
Ensure the size beneath the leaf is dried sufficiently for the leaf to be varnished. For this, please refer to the technical literature provided by the manufacturer of the size. Any loose skewings should be brushed away.
APPLICATION
Dampen a clean, non-abrasive cloth with water and then apply a few drops of the degreaser to the cloth. Gently wipe the leaf to remove any surface grease and other contamination. Care should be taken when degreasing to ensure the leaf is not damaged, especially with delicate leaf products. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly prior to the application of Whitson’s Universal Lacquer. Do not use when temperatures are below 10˚C or above 30˚C.
HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL
Use only in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet supplied by Whitson’s. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. When there is to be prolonged contact with skin, it is advisable to wear rubber gloves. The user must observe local health, safety and environmental regulations when using this product.

CLEANING
All equipment should be cleaned after use with water. Ensure all waste materials (including packaging) are disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
STORAGE
Store in a cool dry place and out of reach of children. Keep away from extremes of temperature. Shelf life 24 months in unopened packs.
