Sinopia Clay Bole - Blue

Sinopia Blue Gilding Clay Bole is a premium, finely milled Kaolin clay designed for traditional water gilding. The cool blue hue introduces a distinct undertone beneath silver, palladium, or white gold leaf, offering a crisp and contemporary finish. Application Tips

As with all clays, the Sinopia Clay Bole will need to be mixed with a hide glue, such as rabbit-skin glue before applying to the piece.

Please note, the Sinopia Clay Bole is thick out of the bottle and will need generous thinning with water until it reaches the consistency of cream. It is not recommend to mix the Sinopia Clay Bole directly with natural glues without first thinning the clay with water.
