Kölner Professional Gilders Knife

The sharp, single-edged blade is made from high-grade, polished stainless steel and is designed for cutting gold and other metal leaf on gilders cushions. The handle is wooden and is fastened securely to the blade.

Please note:

1. The blade should be carefully cleaned with isopropyl alcohol using a soft lint-free cotton cloth to degrease it, prior to any use. This should be repeated any time the knife becomes dirty.
2. Avoid touching the blade of the knife to keep it free of oils and grease which may cause gold leaf to stick to it.
3. If the knife becomes dull you can sharpen it using 400 grit sandpaper.
