Kolner Instacoll HA (High Active) System is a high-performance gilding system for the creation of high-gloss gilded finishes on interior and exterior surfaces. Instacoll HA differs from the Instacoll system as it is designed to work with heavier weight gold leaf (> 20g per 1000 leaves) and heavier metal leaf, such as silver or palladium.
Kolner Instacoll Activator HA is used to reactivate dry Instacoll Base HA layers and make them receptive for leaf again. Simply wait for the Instacoll Base HA to dry completely, then apply a very thin coat of Instacoll Activator HA and allow for it to dry. One the Instacoll Activator HA is dry then the surface will once again be ready for leaf to be laid.
