Kölner Gilding Cushions combine the finest calf leather together with special upholstery to create a surface that will not scratch or mark gold leaf while guaranteeing a fine cut with a gilders knife.

This handheld Gilders Cushion comes complete with a thumb strap and a knife holder, for ease of holding and convenience. Also included is a stiff windshield attached to the cushion, this protects the leaf from being blown away by stray breezes and air currents. This windshield can then be folded flat between uses for easy storage.
