Calcium sulphate. Raw material for fine plaster used for finishes on interior surfaces (walls & ceilings). Sets rapidly on addition of water. Not suitable for exterior use. Good fire retardant properties. An inert substance used as an adulterant and can be used as a painting ground. Will create tooth and absorbency when added to acrylic primer.
