This latest product from the Goldfather, Robert W. Frese, is designed from the ground up to be the best possible brush for applying gelatin size. The soft, synthetic bristles allow the gilding water to flow smoothly from them, this results in smoother application of the size than with traditional camel hair brushes. The brush also boasts a seamless brass ferrule that is rustproof which is another feature that distinguishes this custom-developed brush as a water size brush compared to older methods of using standard paintbrushes to apply the water size.
When you get your brush we recommend giving it an initial clean using mild washing-up liquid. Then simply rinse the brush in warm water after each use to keep it clean. Please ensure you don't get the brush dirty or allow it to come into contact with oil or grease to keep your brush in the best possible condition.
