Gum Damar/Turpentine varnish which dries hard and clear to a high gloss finish. Thin this varnish with turps to use as a varnish or use neat and combine with other ingredients as part of an oil painting medium. This particular varnish is less prone to blooming than mastic varnish.
Removable with white spirit or turpentine.
Always allow 6 months for an oil painting to dry and cure before applying a final picture varnish.
