Craquelure Base Coat - Small Cracks - 60ml

Water based 2-part craquelure. To use first apply a coat of base coat to a surface and allow to dry then apply a coat of top coat over the base coat. As the top coat drys cracks will begin to appear, the appearance of the cracks can be enhnaced by rubbing in artists' oil colour, mixed with a little white spirit. Raw Umber or Burnt Sienna will produce a good aged effect. Once you're happy with your finish, wipe off the excess oil and allow to dry fully for 24 hours and then seal with a good, oil-based varnish.

This product will produce small, fine cracks.
