An exciting range of special-effects paint, these vibrant paints are distinct and bright under normal light but under UV blacklight they glow brilliantly with no change in colour. Originally developed by Hollywood to create dramatic visual effects for film, television and amusement parks, Wildfire Luminescent paints have become the standard of quality for the visual effects professional.
Wildfire paints are water-based and made with 100% acrylic binders, they are intermixable allowing for the creation of a variety of shades including earth tones and skin tones. Wildfire paints are incredibly easy to use, and they can be applied to nearly any surface. So long as the substrate is non-oily and non-sticky and is primed well with a smooth, white primer Wildfire paint can be applied to wood, paper, metal, fabric, canvas and plaster. Wildfire can be used like any other latex paint; it can be brushed, rolled or even sprayed onto a surface.
Coverage - approx. 1.1m2 per 177ml bottle.
The manufacturer recommends applying two coats for full hide and colour development.
