Fleur Reactive Light Copper Paint - 130ml

Turn any surface into a aged copper effect, with the vibrant colour and lived in feel of an old piece of metal work! This special system consists of a paint with real copper pigment and an activator, this causes the surface to bloom in actual verdigris! Accept no substitutes! Depending on how you apply the activator you can create a wide range of effects, from drips and streaks of patina to an all over coating like a heavily weathered statue.

The system is easy to use and can be applied to almost any surface using a series of simple steps.

Firstly, we highly recommend using the Primer as this gives the best surface for the paint and also protects the surface from the Rust Reagent.

Once the surface is primed apply two coats of the Reactive Rust Paint, allowing two to three hours between each coat. 

Then you can apply the Reagent over the painted surface, generally the best effects are achieved with an uneven application, such as using a sea sponge, but a wide variety of effects can be created depending on how you apply it. It's well worth doing some test pieces to practice achieving the perfect effects!

Finally once everything is dry protect the whole surface with two coats of Anti-Oxidant Finish to seal in the Rust, prevent any further tarnishing and to keep the surface pristine!
