Gilding Brushes

Gilders Tips – Made from pure squirrel. A thin layer of hair is sandwiched between 2 pieces of card, 3.5” wide and used to pick up gold leaf from the book or gilders cushion. Available as short, medium and long hair.

Gilders Mops – Available as squirrel and soft hair mix, in ferrule and in quill. The heads are crafted into a round mop shape and used by gilders to tamp down the leaf and brush off any excess .
