Powders
Bronze Powders are available in different shades which can be intermixed to produce further variations of colour if required.

New bronze powders for mixing with water based mediums i.e pigment binding medium (page 8), acrylic gloss medium (P8), easy gild bronze medium (P4) or PVA (P8). Mixing ratio = 3 parts
Pigment binding Med: 1 part powder.
Acrylic Gloss Medium = 3:1
PVA = 50:50 water:PVA then 3:1 PVA/Water:Powder

20/25g of powder is sufficient to make up 120ml of paint.

Bronze powders will tarnish if left unprotected so it is advisable to protect with an Ormoline sealer or varnish. Acrylic Wax sealer on top of the Ormoline sealer will give a satin finish. Dead flat varnish or any spirit based matt varnish on top of Ormoline sealer gives a matt finish.
