Metal Effects - Ageing Solution Blue Patina - 118ml Ref: 900/18-0902
These water-based acidic solutions are applied over the reactive metallic paints. They will react with the real metal particles in the paints thus speeding up the oxidation process. The Green and Blue Patinas can be applied to the Reactive Copper or Bronze Metallic Paints to create beautiful, authentic green and blue patina finishes. The Rust Activator is applied to the Iron Paint. This combination will create a realistic rusted finish on the painted surface.

The patinas will also work on gold-coloured and copper imitation leaf as well as on iron and copper metal, before use clean the leaf or metal to remove and grease or residue that could hinder the patina from working.. However, most alloys (i.e. copper piping) are tarnish resistant and in most cases will not work with the patinas/rust activators. If working on these metals you would need to apply the complete Metal Effects system.
